Jonathan Stuart Bailey (born 25 April 1988) is an English actor of stage and screen. After beginning his career as a child actor in Royal Shakespeare Company productions, he transitioned to television with roles in Leonardo (2011) and the acclaimed crime drama Broadchurch (2013–2015). In 2018, he earned a Laurence Olivier Award for his performance in the West End revival of the musical Company. He achieved international recognition starring as Lord Anthony Bridgerton in the Netflix period drama Bridgerton (2020–present). In 2023, he starred in the historical miniseries Fellow Travelers, for which he received a Critics' Choice Television Award and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. He is set to star as Fiyero in the film adaptation of the musical Wicked (2024) and in the upcoming action film Jurassic World: Rebirth (2025).
